Best Western Caboolture Gateway Motel

We had a great experience here. The staff bent over backwards for us and were so kind to help us out of a pickle we were in. The room was really clean and spacious, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean and spacious too. We really appreciated their kindness. Thankyou. I stayed there just for one night for work at a nearby mill before flying out of the country. I had no other choices nearby the work place but this motel. The room was ok for a cheap motel but the behaviour of the staff/ caretaker was kind of rude. I was a bit late for checkout for unexpected delay at work. While I was packing my things up for check out at 10.10 am (10 am was the checkout time) the guy knocked at the door and rudely said to clear out the room asap. I came out within five minutes and waited outside for my colleague. I think they should give some sort of flexibility to the customer for unexpected delays. They could charge more if they wanted for late checkout but I don’t expect rude behaviour. I checked online after that and saw they still had rooms available for that day. So to accommodate other guests should not be an excuse to kick me out of the room after just 15 minutes late. I travel around the world for work reason and never faced this kind of behaviour. I would not recommend anyone to stay there unless you have no choice.

I had a truly disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. The room was infested with cockroaches, which was absolutely disgusting 😷. To make matters worse, the front receptionist lady was quite rude when I politely requested to have my room vacuumed. I explained that we had played soccer and ended up with grass all over the floor, making it uncomfortable to walk around. Her response was far from accommodating; she asked, "You're only here for 4 days, why's it dirty?" We played soccer 🤣, that's why it's dirty! To my shock, she refused to have the room cleaned and insisted that I do it myself. I couldn't believe the lack of empathy and customer service in this situation. It's safe to say that I won't be returning to this establishment. My advice to the management would be to prioritize proper room cleaning and provide better customer service. Listening to customer feedback and showing empathy can go a long way in improving the overall experience for future guests. 👎😡

Stayed THERE not happy checked in and a guy spent 4 hours repairing a door till 5pm. Owners are rude and have a attitude problem especially towards a family with a disability child. We were homeless and treated like dogs. WOULD RATHER SLEEP ON THE STREET THEN BE TREATED LIKE THIS. VERY unhappy. Don't expect much from caboolture people who are arrogant. She has no customer service experience at all.
